Terms & Conditions for Guests
The New Inns Hotel
1. Booking & Confirmation
All reservations are confirmed only once a valid credit/debit card is provided and the hotel issues a booking confirmation. A contract exists from the moment we send the confirmation email.
Any special requests (e.g., room preferences, accessibility) are requests only — not guaranteed unless confirmed in writing.
2. Check-in & Check-out
Standard check-in time: from 3:00 pm.
Standard check-out time: by 10:00 am.
Early check-in or late check-out may be requested but cannot be guaranteed and may incur additional charges.
3. Payment Terms
All charges for your stay and incidental costs (e.g., minibar, room service, damages) must be paid in full on departure unless otherwise agreed in advance.
We may place a pre-authorisation hold on your card on arrival to cover incidental charges.
Payments can be made by major credit/debit cards or other methods displayed at reception.
4. Cancellation & Refund Policy
4.1 Standard (Flexible) Bookings Guests may cancel free of charge up to 48 hours before the scheduled arrival date. Cancellations made within 48 hours of arrival may be charged the first night’s rate. No-shows (failure to arrive without notice) will be charged 100% of the total stay.
4.2 Non-Refundable / Prepaid Rates Bookings made on a non-refundable rate require full payment at the time of booking. These bookings cannot be refunded in the event of cancellation, change, or no-show.
4.3 Group Bookings (5+ rooms) Group reservations may have separate terms, including different cancellation windows and deposits. These will be communicated in writing at the time of booking.
4.4 Refund Processing Refunds (where permitted) will be made to the original payment method within 3–5business days of cancellation. The New Inns Hotel is not responsible for delays imposed by payment processors or card issuers.
5. Amendments to Bookings
Any request to change the reservation (dates, number of guests) must be made via contact with the Hotel. Changes are subject to availability and may be charged according to the tariff in effect at the time of change.
6. Guest Conduct
Guests are expected to behave respectfully toward staff, other guests, and hotel property. The hotel reserves the right to terminate a guest’s stay without refund if behaviour is disruptive, abusive, or violates local laws.
7. Damages & Liability
Guests are responsible for any damage they, their visitors, or pets cause to rooms or hotel property. The hotel may charge a repair or deep-cleaning fee where necessary.
The New Inns Hotel accepts no liability for loss or damage to personal property, valuables, or vehicles — guests are advised to secure their belongings.
8. Smoking & Pets
No smoking is permitted inside hotel rooms or public areas. A cleaning fee will apply if this rule is breached. Pets are allowed only where specified and may incur a non-refundable pet fee. Service animals may be exempt.
9. Privacy & Data
Personal data collected for bookings will be processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy. By making a reservation, you consent to the use of your information for booking, billing, and marketing purposes (where opted in).
10. Force Majeure
The hotel cannot be held liable for failure to provide services due to circumstances beyond its control (e.g., natural disasters, government restrictions, pandemics). In such cases, refunds or re-bookings will be handled on a case-by-case basis.
11. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising under these terms shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
